Avatar outgrossing Titanic is not THAT impressive.
When you consider rising ticket prices, 3-D prices, inflation, AND IMAX, it’s really nothing special. Not only that, but Titanic was a half-hour longer than Avatar.
Titanic was a cultural phenomenon that even smurfs Avatar. Sorry. I even liked Avatar more than Titanic, yet still cannot say that Titanic has been dethroned.
