They have made the best videos!!!! I wish the US would start doing these

I love/hate this.

Totally agree with the comment in bold (mine) above.

I’ve tried watching this video four times on separate occasions and I just couldn’t do it with the Macklemore soundtrack. This time I tried it on mute and (despite still knowing the song was playing) found it much more effective.

The only other things I hate about it are few. I feel like it tries really hard to be artsy at times. It makes it contrived and is totally unnecessary for getting a message across. The other thing is that it goes from this dude having all these hookups or boyfriends or whathaveyous and it takes forever to explain how his family hates him, but then one day he gets out of the water and he’s suddenly in love with the greatest dude in the world. Like, why didn’t you build up that relationship like you built up his history? Isn’t that just as important.

All the dudes were also rly hot so that was nice.

8/10 I like something you guys! No go and tell me all about how this is problematic. (  ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

This video insults my intelligence. The part where he invites a grindr hookup over for a candlelit dinner is completely moronic.

The Macklemore song would have been fine 8-10 months ago, but it’s hackneyed at this point.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY 2 THE DERN

newsweek:

Multiple women have accused Bill Cosby of drugging and sexually assaulting them. Cosby has repeatedly denied the allegations, and settled a 2006 lawsuit that included 13 accusers.
Newsweek spoke to one of those women, Tamara Green, a former trial attorney now living in Southern California who says Cosby assaulted her in the 1970s; she only came forward in 2005, after hearing about some of his other alleged victims. Green talked candidly about how her confession was a “career-ender,” and about how difficult it can be for women who accuse powerful men of sexual assault.

I think the moral of the story is not to enjoy pop culture at all. Everyone you love is a monster.
