Hi everyone,
ok, so, look.  I get it.  The compilation of youtube videos about how tough (white male) gay people have it in society was very moving, so you want to give money to something that makes a difference.  BUT THIS ~DOCUMENTARY~ IS FUNDED ALREADY.  By almost three times its goal!
Want to help make lgbt people equal.  Here are some places you can give money:
North Carolina and Minnesota will be fighting off constitutional marriage bans this year.
New Hampshire is fighting off a legislature that wants to overturn marriage equality.
New Jersey, Washington and Maryland are all trying to pass marriage equality legislatively right now.
The Human Rights Campaign, The Task Force, Freedom to Marry and Marriage Equality USA all work nationally to help with a variety of LGBT issues.
Lambda Legal and GLAD seek justice through litigation.
GLSEN tries to make schools safer for lgbt kids.
The Ali Forney Center, BAGLY, CHRIS Kids, and many more organizations provide housing and support for homeless lgbt youth.

boom, yes.

Beat me to it! I would also recommend The Trevor Project, True Colors Residence, or the Hetrick-Martin Institute. These are all incredible organizations that support gay youth. If you have money to spare, give it to them instead of a self serving wannabe documentarian.
